Portable appliance testing (PAT) is the term used to describe the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. Most electrical safety defects can be found by visual examination but some types of defect can only be found by testing.

Portable appliance testing is a requirement of certain properties and is required on a regular basis to ensure all appliances are in compliance with the current standards and are safe to use. This is a good way for Landlords to ensure they are meeting their legal obligations to maintain high standards of electrical safety in their rented properties.

Taylors Electrical Ltd can carry out these tests and provide the required legal documentation.

All appliances will be allocated an identification sticker.
